The answer is no, the zipper does not work.  When I wore this, I was asked that a couple times, but I can understand why.  I saw some people around the internets doing things with zippers and I thought I'd try it as well. It's made from sweatshirt fleece and ribbing and has 3/4 sleeves. I have no idea what the kind of collar is called. Tongue Here are some pics:

Fantastic job! I'm a big fan of different zip placements. And I think that collar style is called funnel.
