Hey...

Would any of you fancy sewing folks be interesting/willing/able to make your own version of the Go knit pouch?

I'd love one big enough for a small project, with a drawstring, and preferably made out of a fabric which would allow the yarn to slide easily as I knit out of it (slippery type fabric?  I don't know).

Link for reference: http://www.yarniverse.com/browse.cfm/4,1138.htm

Thx!

The little sock bag with the motorcycle betty boop that I claimed from Javede is almost just like that. But it's not slippery fabric. It's actually kind of stiff so it stands up on it's own. I love it and it's a great size for socks. She might be willing to make more. (she also sent me the link to the pattern and I will be making some out of some lovely asian style fabric soon but probably not for this swap as I am just too busy at the moment).

My boss is gone today.  I have taken the opportunity to do a bit of shopping.

I am open again.

I think this particular work "crunch" has ended for a day or two.  It was pretty awful around here!

I have really been feeling out of sorts at missing out on all of the Craftster developments!

I remember that congrats should be extended to a couple of people on engagements and pending babys!

I should really be writing @%$%# Word documents now....back to it.

Just added a couple of slouchy hats to my shop. Am going stir crazy. I don't know what it is about being injured, but I'm craving homemade chocolate chip cookies like you wouldn't believe.

I don't have cookies, but I do have a dish of dove dark chocolate, GatsbyGirl!

If anyone wants to make a fortran voodoo doll or something else on which I can take out my fortran-related agressions (and I have a lot), I would purchase one from your shop in a heartbeat!  Just 40 minutes until I can go hoooooome and not use fortran for two whole days.....

Damn. I just saw your scarves in the gallery ptarmic wumpus. I completely missed them when they were available. They're beautiful.

I have a lot of the Alter Ego dyes (they come in big bottles and you only use maybe 10 - 20 ml of dye on each scarf) so there will be more scarves in the future. I'm working on some scarves that were requested at the end of the last round, then I'll do some more of the bi-color ones.

BTW, to anyone who requested a velvet scarf in the last round - all the velvet scarves have fringe, only the satin scarves have a no-fringe option. It wasn't clear on the web
