So I ran into this thread: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=196551.0

It included this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akNJ6S2UqsE

Now my boyfriend is a die hard Transformers fan so I sent him the link via email regreting it instantly knowing that he'd beg me to make him a costume. Sure enough that's what happen! Now here's the story - I made it sound like I wasn't going to make him one but I'm actually considering it. He's in the Air Force and he's going away for training for 2.5 months soon so I have plenty of time to work on it when he's not around.  Wink Grin

The real question is... any pointers or tips on how to go about making this and actually having a transforming version like above? Huh Of course he'll want to be Optimus Prime!

My brother made an optimus prime one out of cardboard boxes, plywood, duct tape, straps and such - stuff he found around the garage and the house. Just be creative with what you have. Watch the video to get ideas of how you want to transform and what pieces to make, etc. Good luck!
