I do love "shopping" in my own stash!

Do you worry that some of the supplies will degrade?  I found some old acrylic yarn, about 10 years or so...and it was pretty stiff and now very nice.  I keep most of my fabrics in bins, but I did notice that even some of those are wearing a bit where it folds...

I recently threw out about 30 acrylic paint bottles...all dried up!  I tried adding water to them...but nah, didn't work.

I had to throw out all of my fimo clay, which hat gotten too hard. I haven't been able to use it anyway since I got fibromyalgia back in 2004. So yes, the clay was old.
And I too had to throw out some paints that dried out.

I threw out old polymer clay and paints too. Some things are not the sort of supply you can keep in the stash for very long :/.

Ooh that reminds me: I have some polymer clay and acrylic paints somewhere around here. I need to make sure that it's all still okay Shocked
The clay should be okay, as it's only a couple years old, but I've had the acrylic paints for quite a while now. Tongue

BeaG, your craft room is sooo AMAZING!

Craftsters, I propose that we should plan our next meetup in Belgium just to tour Bea's craft area!

Hahaaa!
You're all welcome!
I do have very poor health though and can only be physically active for 2-3 hours on a good day.
But the city of Gent is nearby and you can all enjoy Belgian beer, chocolates and waffles over there, while you take in the beautiful sight of some ancient buildings (while I stay at home and rest, which is NOT my favorite hobby).

YKYACW you pull out your old pattern book and remember it's chock full of designs you snagged from the Craftster forums, so make your way back to see what new things you can snag for your book.

YKYACW you have, and I could probably divide it up into more, 47 boards of just different craft projects, categorized into what kind of craft it is, and subdivided into different categories (Like, I started with a needlework board that covered knit, crochet, and embroidery.... It's now divided into Amigurumi, Stitch patterns, Crochet baby, Crochet hats, Crochet mittens, Crochet clothing, Knit baby, Knit hats, Knit mittens.... You catch the drift).

YKYACW.... (and a devoted cat lover too I guess) when the last task at day's end is to go around on your hands and knees in the living room to gather up all of the beads and bits of cut floss that have landed there throughout the day. Just so the cats won't eat them while you are asleep.
