I've hunted through Craftster pretty thoroughly in the hopes of finding some brilliant soul who's attempted an amigurumi Fraggle Rock character. Anyone know of a pattern for one or perhaps know of a pattern that could be altered slightly to make a Fraggle?

You know what?  I would use this pattern--

and I think as long as the colors you choose match the character you are doing and the hair looks like a fraggles hair, I think it would work.  The body shape is similar, although you might have to change the head pattern a little.

Anyway, maybe someone else will have something closer to what you are looking for.  Good luck!  And if you finish, be sure to post pics, your idea sounds awesome!

I love the Fraggles!!!! This is a great idea, I think we all need to try, doesn't everyone need fraggles in their homes... I can't wait to see how this works.

Oh my goodness! I never thought of Fraggles!  I used to watch the fraggles all the time (i liked the puppet version better than the animated one)  I'll have to try to make one too.  I wonder... i would try making an amigurmi dude first (http://www.crochetme.com/amigurumi-dude) then use fun fur or something for the eye brows and hair.
I'm gonna study a few pictures of the characters, maybe i can put something together.
