Well, my first attempt was a TOTAL failure! But, my second hat is turning out a lot better - looser stitches so the sizing is actually right, thank goodness.

Edit of the second time: Well, everytime I frog it, it gets a little better. Smiley Now the only problem I'm having is that I don't know how to properly do the slip stitch on the edge.

Edit of the last time: Done. o_o; I could probably make three of these a day if I didn't frog so much. *ribbit* Well, I should have used a tighter stitch or a smaller needle on the last rows, but otherwise it worked! It didn't come out as nice as others here, but it's not bad.

I'm not at home, so I'll take pictures after the new year when I return to my camera. X3

So I did this pattern like 3u5643892659821 times (yes, there's a "u" in that number... that's how big it is!!  Cheesy) for Christmas prezzies... Check it out. I also did one in Simply Soft Blue Mint that's not in the picture.

The first one I did

This picture shows the color a lot better, it's more of a sage-y green

A multitude of hats!!

The tag that I put in all of them

I LOVE this pattern, and I have it memorized by now so I can make as many as I want. Thanks so much ArghMatey!!!

Finally, after getting a 7.0mm hook...
and loads of frogging...

I got a slouchy hat!
Flat on the floor!

On my head

I just love it so much!
Even someone says that it looks funny Tongue

My 2nd hat, with a few mods...I ended up with quite a few more stitches around than the pattern stated, and decided to leave it.  It came out pretty well

Here's mine. I love this pattern! I didn't decrease down to 48 either because it felt a little tight, so it doesn't slouch quite as much. I still love it!
