I've been looking and looking on this site for a couple of months and this is my very first project! A red checked clutch style bag and a red wallet with coin section and credit card holders - entirely made from duct tape.

My family thought I was crazy - I am not a "cool" young adult but a 40-something grandma that can't stand to pay boutique proces for trendy beautiful things.

Several flaws, a lot of lessons learned, but I wanted to share and thank everyone for their brilliant and creative inspirations!

Oh, my gosh! That is the coolest. Smiley

Forget what your family says. Everyone's allowed to express themselves, to change, to evolve. Besides, they're just jealous, because they don't have mad skills like you. Wink

Did you freehand this or use a tutorial?

Oh thanks!!!

Nope - just freehanded it - kind of a compilation of the dozens of tutorials I have looked at.

Awsome job girl!!! Sorry for asking but how did you attach the velcro on the wallet? I tried to glue it on with no success so I stapled it!!! lol

I love to knit, crochet, paint and some other stuff!! =)
