lookin' good, april_cocaine!

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

It's looking really good, april_cocaine.  Great fit and colour.

Well, I'm still waiting on my needles ( I suppose a good thing; I'll be forced to finish my sock) but I have a question: Is there any reason why the sleeves couldn't be knit in the round?  My first sweater is still incomplete because I can't bring myself to seam up the sleeves.

Hi everyone!  You all have convinced me to knit this.  I ordered Bernat Softee Chunky Twists in Teal Twists.... (I have been wanting to use this yarn for awhile for something... now's my chance!)

My husband laughed at me when he found out I ordered yarn to start a new project (I have WAY too many WIP's).  So, I'll be trying to finish a bunch of stuff up before the yarn arrives in the mail.  But I'll be joining you soon!  Everyone's Cherie Amour's look great!!

Hi MariWear!

Determined - I haven't even peeked at the sleeves yet so I'm no help!

April, that looks great. I really love the color you chose - the stitch definition stands out so nicely.

Did you shorten the bottom section?

No, I didn't shorten it. It's 8 inches long (like the pattern states), but I feel like it's too short. And I'm only 5 foot tall.

I agree with everyone--KatAutumn & April_Cocaine, your sweaters both look really really good.

Also, my yarn just got here today.  Now I have to go out & buy new needles.  Hopefully I'll start tonight.

Here's a picture of it.  It's called Azul y Limon:

Awesome! YAY for bell sleeves!!! When I saw the pattern I instantly though "this screams the need to flair the sleeves" so when (if!) I get this this I'll be asking you for assistance!!!
