I know in the past there have been "mini-swaps" (or something like that) where you basically have 24 hours to craft and send. the photo swap is finishing up and it was really fun, and it made me think of how fun it would be to do a "24 hour" photo swap where the participants take pics throughout one day...just a normal day...not so much artsy photos but "day in the life" photos with an artsy kick.

Are you thinking that people would just carry their camera with them for a day and take pictures of the random things they do all day?  Like wake up take a pic of the alarm clock, go shower take a pic of the shower curtain things like that?  Because if so, I would definitely be in for something like this!  And maybe craft a small item to go along with the pics?

sounds good, the only prob for me, would be to print up all the photos, could we send our digital photos via cd?  maybe a craft to go with it as well, something that you connect with the most? or your favourite craft?  or just the pics?

I was guessing we would send the digital photos on cd although prints would be cool.

that's exactly what I was thinking, if you use film or a disposable cd you just go throughout the day taking pics of what your day looks like (and, yeah, I like the idea of random shots with the time) so having like 24 pics. just like the photo swap you could use either regular or digital, if you use digital you just send a cd with 24 pics from your day.

maybe a small craft of something pertaining to your day? i.e. one of the pics is you making dinner and you craft a simple recipe card holder to go along with it, or even a simple picture frame like we did for this swap.

it just would be fun to see what everyone does during the day! LOL

this is a great idea for a swap! i'd love to join if we get enough people.

how about using a disposable camera? i don't have a digital [yet, fingers crossed] or a regular film camera. maybe we could send the whole camera, plus small crafted item, to our partner and they can develop them? just for fun and mystery. Smiley

i can picture [ha] myself nonchalantly snapping a shot of my professer during class and acting like the *click* came from somewhere else...Cheesy

That's a great idea! Something like that has been in my head for years! Plus this wouldn't be an expensive swap so even people with a (swap induced  Wink ) small budget can join!  Grin

I'd really love to do this swap, but I'm doing my first swap currently, and I'm not sure when I'll get feedback...

and i act like a child, and i'm immature,
and i'm filled with doubt, and i'm insecure.
sometimes it creeps up on me,
and before i know it i'm lost at sea.
but no matter how far i row,
i always find my way back home.
but i don't know what i've been waiting for...
