WOW!  Could it really be that I'm the first to post?  Neat!

I thought I would have more than one skein to show this week, but life kind of got in the way.

Here is some yarn that I spun up from some of my own handpainted roving:

Daydreamer, 200yds heavy worsted-bulky, superwash merino.  i haven't washed, set the twist, and blocked yet, so its still "wavy".

and here is the Dream Swatch that I'm knitting from last week's bamboo.  I'm not crazy about how its swatching out actually.  This might get frogged and turned into something else if it doesn't look better after being blocked.  The colors turned out nice tho!

Betzi I think the swatch looks great. If you don't like it you can always send it my way *wink wink*. Sadly my wheel broke this week so I have nothing to share but looking at everyone elses yarn seems to sooth the spinning beast so more pics please!

I haven't posted on a FF in a while, so I have a bit to show.

Bijou---2oz, 170 yards superwash merino from ViralAnomaly on Etsy

Bijou 2---2oz, 280 yards, superwash merino from ViralAnomaly on Etsy.  This one is thinner.

Trembolina---4oz, 368 yards, bamboo from HollyEQQ

Sherbet---4oz, 270 yards, 2-ply, fresian & shetland from Stony Creek on Etsy.

Parakeet---2.5 oz, 110 yards, corridale X from an Ebay seller.

I think that is it.

Everything here looks so fantastic.  I love the beaded one and Betzi, that swatch looks great I think.  That pattern is fantastic!

Beautiful yarns so far!

In another effort to use up all my fibre before leaving the country, I got quite productive this week. I haven't got pics of everything yet, but here is what I have:

Colonel Mustard and Ms Sage, pure Targhee I got through the magic roving ball swap (Thanks maiziemama!)

Not a cloud in the sky, almost the last bits of my lovely merino/silk blend! Over 300m and 100g. I will keep this and knit some sort of a small shawl out of it...

And this one is called Rosewood, dyed by my boyfriend Smiley
First it seemed like a bit of an accident with wayyy to much dye, but once dried it looked really nice and a little different - so I had to keep this as well, lol. Cheesy

No pictures so far of a fancy merino/silk yarn withsequins in a really great colour. I also just finished a blue yarn with shells spun into - took me aaaages to complete!

Now I am getting really low on fibre, just some merino/silk for myself, all the material for a 'chicks and eggs' eastery yarn, some yellow/orange tussah silk, lots of leftovers in different colours (scrap yarn...?) and last but not least lots of mohair curls.

It certainly feels like fall here in PA... time to catch up on some spinning! Love the yarns so far!

"Ruffled Feathers," mohair plied with cotton thread and beads

Merino plied with thread

Merino plied with thread

"Excursion," unknown wool that I got at the PA Endless Mtns. Fiber Festival!

Have a great weekend!
