did you know you don't even need that gold piece to connect them??
i have these and i don't remember exactly what it's called but it's a piece that you must of taken out to put the gold link there.
haha not much help but just thought you might be interested.

Cute. You might want to use silver wire to connect or the pieces that connect the chain links already on the chain.
A empty paper towel holder wrapped in nice fabric makes a nice display, and looks professional.

I really liked the gold wire, but you might be right. I have some red chain which will get the gold wire, but the problem is the silver wire and chain are different shades.
Also, that was my quick photobooth picture. Too lazy to get digital camera new batteries.
