Fall issue of Seventeen Magazine.... they figured out what we've been talking about for AGES.... "It's going to get cold, but you'll look hot (and stay warm) in these chunky knits."

Uh Huh.

That SAID.... I'm in looove with the dress and the tan short sleeve sweater... has anyone seen a similar pattern?

Awesome knits! I haven't seen a pattern for a sweater similar to the short sleeve tan colored one, but I do know that the front is worked in a Hollow Oak cable pattern, which means it could easily be adapted from another sweater pattern.  Smiley

That short sleeve tan one looks soooo Twinkle to me! Maybe you could just do the Boyfriend Sweater from Big City Knits with short sleeves?

I've noticed a lot of  knitted stuff in other fall fashion magazines, too... September Vogue had some AWESOME ones.

I love the purple basketweave dress!  I don't think I have the patience to knit it, but it's really cute.

that jumper dress is super cute.  I wonder how it would be constructed... and if I have the patience to complete it.

I still have several LARGE projects unfinished due to sewing... I am not one for sewing together the piece.  thus, i like scarves, once you've gotten the length, you're pretty much done.

although finishing something is sorta gratifying in a weird way...
