we have decided that we are going to have a small (8 family members) beach weeding interstate (Noosa QLD in Australia). I have always loved pink and as it is on a beach... it must be a beach theme!

Can anyone help me with ideas as i dont really even know where to start.

so far i am thinking of having white and pink lillies and pink starfish... now i just have to put everything together. The biggest problem i have is i will not be in the same state so planning is going to be hard!

can anyone else help me? where do i start!! Huh

Have you ever looked at this website?:

I really like the inspiration boards that people put together from pictures that inspire them.  It seems to narrow the focus in the decision making process.

I do have one suggestion.  I saw a cake on flickr recently that I thought of when I read your post.  A two tier wedding cake decorated in delicate colors with what appeared to be molded white-chocolate shells for decoration.

In someplace sunny like a beach I love it when they use parisols instead of bouquets. You can even tie some flowers onto the handle if you like, or some dangling shells. You cn get them in white, and paint them to match your theme. Fans are also nice, and work the same way. Mabey a parisol for you, fans for the bridesmaids?

I think youll want to look into doing something other than the usual contructed arch, since that would be hard to transport. I dont know what tho.

Thore pretty litle glass round jelew thinggied come in both clear and pink, and might remind people of sea glass. Good for centerpeices if your planning on eating there to.

I've seen some pretty "Aisles" made out of nothing more thn some coordinating colored petals scattered in an aisle shape.

Dont be afraid to use shells in any bout's you have, to. Also, consider getting some faux pearls in white and pale pink. They can get put on anything, and their cheap and crafty:)

Have you considered a sand cermony? For something like this you could even do something symbolic like first putting in some sand from the location, and also including some sand from your home, or your childhood homes. Or get sands from other locations. For example, in the bahamas there are beaches full of pale pink sands. In other plces it can be dark beige, or even black. Could look realy pretty together.

hope that helps.
