hey everybody, this is my first post, not even sure this is where you post them but here goes... i have got back into sewing again, i made a bag, then 2 for my friends then a  clutch then a bag for my friend's mum, then after trying to find a nice pinafore that doesn't make me look pregnant i decided to make one, (i think Americans call them jumpers???)  so here it is, only cost $12 something:

really bad photo, i took it with my phone, anyway i bought 2 metres of white material and 1\2 metre of blue stripey, it was enough with both materials, i had a 12cm zipper in the side, note: a longer zipper would be better. and i bought 5 white buttons and used them on the straps:

and next time i think i'll make it a wincy bit roomier and the top white piece a little bit longer

and i even made a lining for it, it was a bit see through.. now i have a new dress i want to try and make...its actually from here:

vintage floral fabric dresses (img heavy)

well i hope you enjoy it, and sorry again bout the pics.

Hey good job, I really like the strap details, I made something similiar with the same shape straps.

Really good job for your first post, keep up the good work.

You'll be suprised by how quickly you can pick up things when you keep practising and with each garment you get better, I'm getting better each time I try something new.
