I'm waiting at the airport to fly out in an hour! Yay for wireless!

I actually decided not to bring any crafty projects with me on vaca, I'm taking a craft-free vacation! Very odd not to have some crochet in my bag, but I have nintendo, crossword puzzles, sodoku and a bunch of computer games, plus a couple vampire novels. I can really hit the crafting when I get back, I just have a few things to finish up to get the first package in the mail.

However, my good friend that lives in Maui knits, so I may spend some time knitting with her...if we don't find other fun stuff to do (she's only lived in Hawaii less than 2 years, but she's already SO over it, she says, "yeah it's paradise, but I'm stuck in paradise, and there's noplace to go!"

Happy Crafting, and a Merry Christmas to all!  Aloha!  Grin

I feel that taking a break from craft projects makes me crave them when I get back from the break. Plus, you should enjoy the sun, sand and loveliness that is Hawaii! Enjoy!

I still sell my clay crafts...email me if you are interested in ordering something. kishcrafts@gmail.com

Crafting is a vacation...at least to me.  I find it so relaxing.

Me too!  I always look forward to the evenings when things get quiet so I can "retreat" to my craft room!

crafting keeps me sane! I just enjoy making things in general..I'll make a little tally in my head of how many more things i have to sew for my business and it motivates me to get done so i can start working on all of my other little fun projects!

I actually worked a TON this weekend.. a lot for work and a lot for this swap!

I got house cleaning and craftiness done today. I'm not sure how many days I have finished but I know I did a lot today I'll figure it out tomorrow.

I tried a lot of new stuff today. I'm pleased. it all went well. I think I must be on a roll today.

I have a bunch of vintage linens for trade. Looking for neat halloween fabrics, day of the dead stuff, star wars stuff.

I had a pretty good crafting day yesterday -- finished up the items to complete 2 days, and got a few items done for another day.  I'm feeling good about my progress, although I need to start wrapping them so I can stop second-guessing myself!

Interested in personal swaps!

And once again, a whole weekend goes by where I do nothing but clean and stare at the TV.  I guess I like to craft after work and veg out on the weekends.
