I recieved my two parcels this week.  Both partners went the farm/chicken theme

Laurakates was the first to arrive on Wednesday.  Wasn't able to get a photo of the parcel but believe me there was a tonne of sticky tape on this baby, took me five minutes to get through it all   Cheesy  but worth it cause inside there was

Three vintage tins, a rooster basket and a lambie picture (so cute)

Two chicken and two cow bubble bath sachets for the kiddies, some craft wood animal shapes, and hand stitched magnets that spell my name.

And on to the fantastic crafty items - a hanging tea towel with an embroidered pig on it - my DISH PIG  and an oven mit with an embroidered chicken on it - my HOT CHICK

And my favouritist item of all -  an apron -  stitched on it is WELCOME TO UDDER KAOS and a handpainted cow - perfect - the huge pocket can fit 1 doz eggs or 6 goslings -  and it has been worn every night.  Love love love it.

Lauras shopping list

Blue/white fabric - St vinnies          $1-00
Vintage tins - Slavos                     $2-00

Wooden animals - Spotlight            $2-00

                                                 $10-00   Grin

And I recieved from Cyndiq today - and in this fantastic parcel I recieved  A machine embroidered check shirt for me and one for my baby boy - Harry - so cute, he has had it on all day

front of the shirts

Back of my shirt

Harry modelling his shirt

A hand towel with machine embroidered chickens two crocheted hanging tea towels with roosters on them,  an oven mit with apples on it and a rooster pot holder. also a magnet with machine stitching on it.

Several sewing patterns, a craft wood craft kit, a scrapibits quilt pattern for a wall hanging, a chicken pin cushion and a domino pendant for each of my girls.  And a great table mat with the cutest chicken fabric and more machine embroidered roosters.

Closer detail of the embroidery on the table mat - I like this so much I am going to put some tabs on the back and hang it in my kitchen.  Note to self - Wist an embroidery machine  Grin

And the cutest little chicken magnet - which by the way I told Harry he was not to touch in case he broke it, and what did I go and do five minutes later

Whoops - managed to glue it back together - couldn't find the little bit at the bottom tho, possibly under the fridge.

I had a great start to my morning, at about 8am a knock at my door and my package from edud was here! I received tons of yummy goodies! Everything was packed in there good.

first up is some fabric including interfacing and lining

2 great purses, the pink one matches one of my jackets perfectly! and I love the aqua one with the daisies  Smiley

I wanted to learn how to tat, no idea where to begin, and never thinking I'd actually get to learn, the edud found me a shuttle and a book on learning to tat, plus some cotton. This is one of my favorite parts!

I love strawberries, so while everyone else is putting out there fall stuff I will be putting my new strawberry runner and coasters on my table!

and some various craft items, including tons of flowers (great for scrapbooking) craft books, strapping, ribbon, buttons to cover, etc!

Thank you so much edud, I love it all! Now to figure out what to play with first!

Loved to see all the clothes, mittens, chickens, strawberries and tatting stuff!
I know this is the wrong gallery, but I just wanted people to know that you make real friends with swaps! Mini, my partner in the first round of bargain hunters sent me another packet to top up my first one, now that she can find other bargains!
Here is my complementary parcel: Grin Grin

Loved the gel transfer on the tee shirt!!!
This si great, I can't wait to see what Sezouli had in store for me!!!

Hi all,

Just received a PM from Sinisterbutterfli - she's received her package!! I took pics and as she's having issues with the camera, I'm posting pics for her...sorry if this is img heavy.

Group shot 1

Little chest of drawers

a little jewelry box

the inside

sewing notions/zippers

jewelry box

ribbon bracelet

swizzle stix

another group shot

.95 - small jewelry box with heart in top
.88 - pink and black paint
1.00 - swizzle sticks
free - hello kitty pictures
.13 - ribbon
1.96 - buttons for ribbon bracelet
1.50 - candle holder
.15 - 3 cards of pink buttons
.75 - roll of black elastic
.95 - pink makeup bag
.75 - bag o' sewing notions (yay 1/2 price day)
.75 - bag o' zippers (yay 1/2 price day)
.30 - tiny chest of drawers
.25 - round box

and admittedly the crocheted pink and black bead bracelt was spoiling because I reclaimed everything from other thrifty finds that were part of huge bags of jewelry I paid less than $2 for.

Did you get that straight edge too as part of the notions?  I would have had a hard time passing that one up!  I paid $5 for the one I got and that was on clearance at Wallyworld!
