I've had Amy's Bend the Rules Sewing book for awhile...but just tried it out over the weekend. Here's the little clutch that's on the cover (made from Windham's Harmony line). It's a fun and quick little project. Totally easy to do and once you get the "formula" down, you can make them in any size you'd want.

I made two of these

Is there an Amy Karol thread anywhere on the board? I'd love to see other people's projects from this book...

Cheers!
Suzanne

That's the greatest book, isn't it? You did a fabulous job on the clutch. I made my first baby bib the other day using the pattern from the book (I know -- not a major project, but I was trying to use up some stash.) I can't wait to make a zillion other things.

i am sorry for being a bad, rude swapper. i am sorry to all the partners i flaked on, and all the feelings i hurt. i feel really guilty, my life is messed up right now and i got greedy and selfish. i didnt think about anything but getting nice things. i am so sorry everyone. i'll be leaving now.

Thanks for your warm words! I definitely encourage people to try out this book. The projects are fun and functional (always a key thing for me).
