i couldnt figure out how to do the handles inside out when sewing the lining to the bag so i did it after all that. the seems were not very clean like rubypurls but i loved her bag and wanted to try one.. so here it is.
thanks for looking. any advice on how to do the handles on the next one would be greatly appreciated..

What great fabrics!  I love it!

My take on how to do the handles (and I don't have the AB pattern) would be to do something very similar to this fantastic zipper tutorial and just not use the zipper:

And maybe use some Peltex to make it nice and stiff?  One day I will give it a try. Smiley

Wow, fabulous!!  I really like the way you made yours and the fabric, beautiful colors. Adding a zipper was a great idea.  I also like how deep your is too.  Grin
