I was inspired by Ginny's bag at the beginning of Harry Potter goblet of Fire and the tiny tent that was huge inside.

I made this purse using some of the instructions from http://www.provocraft.com/projects/kniftyknitter/expand.purse.html , my blue Knifty Knitter long loom, my Wonder Knitter spool loom (for handles), Red Heart super saver burgundy, and Caron Perfect Match gold.

It was pretty fast except I had to keep counting the rows because it is all made in one piece.  I really think it turned out great.  Hope you like it too.  It will hold LOTS of stuff.  It expands.  LaShawn

This is great and what a great job you have done.

I only wish I could knit more that squares   Sad.

Anyone know of a good place to start/learn this craft (as well as crochet)?

With blessings.

This was done on a Knifty Knitter loom which is really easy and you dont have to know how to knit.  For help with needle knitting, try www.knittinghelp.com  and for help with crochet, try www.nexstitch.com  Both these sites have video tutorials that are great.  Good luck.  Or you can get the Knifty Knitter looms at Micheals, Hobby Lobby, Joanns, even Walmart.  Check them out at www.provocraft.com

I love it!  I just started using my knifty knitters, it looks like I'll have to add that to my list of things to try!  I don't have the long looms yet, only the circular and the purple rectangle so I'll have to keep an eye out for sales and get me some, lol.  Great job!! Smiley

This is gorgeous! It looks like a professional bag you would see in a big box store! I especially love the handle, it looks so soft and squishy!
