This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Does anyone want to do a personal swap? I'm looking for a horror-ish new bag/purse. Message me if interested!

Wow! I came across this thread a couple of weeks ago, and seeing as my birthday was coming up, I offered to make my *own* birthday cake this year, because I wanted to try this! But, my husband insisted that he and the kids would make it for me....so they did!

It turned out *great*. Tasted  terrific, and looked even better. The colours turned out a little paler than the original one that started this thread, but it was still gorgeous and super-cool. We took it to our neighbours house after dinner to share, and they asked where we bought it. They couldn't believe it was homemade. That's a pretty nice compliment.

So kudos to Matthew, Oliver and Julian, and here are some photos......

I'm gonna make this for mother's day! My MIL won't believe it wasn't store bought!

irismooninthecity, wow to your family for making so many different colors!  That looks great!

Needing an on-line break ... I'll be back later in 2018.

Forgot to post my meagre attempts. My brother found the recipe on a non-craftster cite and brought it to me for assistance (and I was all excited cause I thought he'd been on crafster. Alas.) SO we got to work and his mentor chef (I) let him down by adding twice the amount of sour cream as required so we had to double the recipe (darn, right?). SO i busted out the graham crackers and butter and the cupcake tins (cause we've only got the one springform pan).

They were delicious! I prefer anything in cupcake tins to their larger counterpart. :.)

Okay, so I just tossed three groovy colorful cheesecakes in the oven, waiting for the timer to go off. My roommate has three children, all boys, 3, 7 and 8. The three year old didn't want to participate in the periodic taste tests that me and his momma had during the prep, but once the bowls of cheesecake were colored, we couldn't keep his hands out of it! The older two are all about cheesecake - they were in full support of this endeavor from the get go. My little sister is turning 20 tomorrow so one of the cheesecakes is going to go to her. She has a digital camera, so I'll make sure to get lots of pics before it gets devoured. One of the cakes is staying here for me, the roomie and the boys, and the third is going to my aunt, who graciously let me use her hand mixer when I took a wooden spoon to three cheesecakes worth of cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract and realized that my arm was definately not up to task. The OP is srsly my hero. I had the most fun ever drizzling colorful batter over brownies.

Okay, I just took this cheesecake to work, and it was a hit!  It's all gone (which is a good thing, b/c I'm the only one in the house who eats cheesecake, and I do not need to gain 15 pounds in a day).  All day, everyone asked me how I made it look like that.  It was pretty fun.  Also?  My new nickname is Martha...as in Stewart.  So thanks, alisatriona_angerboda, for making me a rockstar at Winners!

I only managed to get a picture of the birthday cheesecake from the top before it was devoured like a cow in a piranha tank.
