this was commissioned for a friend from arizona, so she can remember the waves.

she picked up the shell at the beaches here, and it already had a hole, perfectly placed.   Cheesy
i sent it off last week and i just heard back that she loves it, yayy!   Grin

I love how the swinging part over the shell gives it movement - like waves and the blue is stunning Smiley

this is fantastic! I have several pre-holed shells from the myrtle beach trip i went on this summer, and this is really a great idea for something to make with them! I knew i wanted to make necklaces and such, but i couldn't decide what to do with them... now i know!

Oh, I love how you used beads in the same colors as the shell with the turquoise popping out like that! You really did a wonderful job arranging this piece Cheesy

This is great, you did a wonderful job envoking a beach-y feeling.
I would love to know how you strung it. I have an idea of a good way,
but stringing/threading is truely my Achilles heel and am always
trying to improve my failing by asking others.  Smiley

So simple yet so beautiful. I adore it! Great for souvenirs!

My boyfriend's Grandma gave me a bag full of nice sea shells from Florida and I've been trying to decide what to do with them. You gave me some inspiration! Thank you!
