This is my second attempt at t-shirt reconstruction (my first was not so good...).  I took this t-shirt:



And made this:





It's not easy to see, but I cut a slit in each side and sewed a triangle of fabric into each one to make the bottom bigger.

I love red white & blue themed things - and this top is super cute!  Well done!  I know you can get tops like that on super clearance right now from fashion bug and the like.
