Nothing fancy .. just a make-up pouch Smiley

I'm a copycat! I traced the pattern from a tobacco pouch I bought in Berlin. Since I don't smoke I planned to use it for make-up, unfortunately it was too small - my new one fits all my essentials to create a human look Smiley

What do you think about that blue? Too smurfish??  Grin

Not too smurfish! Just smurfish enough!

It's really cute. I think the wooden ring is a really nice touch.

not too smurfish at all!  I absolutely love this and it would come in handy for traveling.  Is there a chance of you posting a tute for this?

You did such a great job, I love it.

The blue is not at all smurf-ish, it is a completely different tone...

Your wish is my command. I've uploaded a tutorial Smiley

Thanks for your compliments!!

I know now, why I thought that this must be a smurfish fabric. Once upon a time ... well, it must have been 1992, my grandmother has used this fabric to sew a smurf costume for my brother (for "fasching", kind of a carneval). In fact it was simply a blue shirt Smiley combined with white gymnastic trousers and a smurfhat haha as far as I remember he wasn't the only smurf on that party. Some months ago my grandmother has donated all her fabrics to me .. next time i will make something out of my brother's kittyleopard-costume he has worn in the 80ies.
They call me a redneck, and I reckon that I am

I think I might use this pattern and alter it to make a pouch for my paint brushes!!!  Thanks for the tute, it's so profressional, and you make it so easy to understand, especially considering your first language is German!!!!   Grin
