Okay, so maybe it's a little bit rude!

I had make a visual response to "The naked worm of Persian jealousy" for a textiles class, so as you can see there's a worm, coming out of a rather opulent apple. I was using lush fabrics like satin & velvet, with diamante and pearls to evoke the "exotic East" thing. Then the apple shape is a reference to Adam & Eve, who realised they were nekkid after eating the apple from the Tree of Knowledge.

The first one always makes me giggle though.

Crochet uses a hook. Pirates have hooks, and they are cool. So crochet is cool because of the hook.

that is so funny. i was on the front page and seen the lil pic and was like 'what is that..is that a..." but anyways i really love the apple. it's so great looking w/ all the satin and whatnot! great job!

LOL. Wow, I saw the first pic and was wondering how exactly this is kiddie-safe. Wink  You can see where my mind goes.. Anyway, that is a great piece.  Love the apple!
