I am not really a mitten or glove kinda gal but I fell in love with these mitts from the fall '07 Interweave Knits. Is anyone interested in doing a knit-a-long with me? I have the 5 skeins it calls for and with the small amounts of color used in some of the stripes I think I can whip out at least two pair of these for Christmas!

I finally got started on my mitts. I am using some knitpicks yarn and some cascade 220. And though the cascade should be used on a bigger needle, they are turning out pretty well. These are definitely a challege. There are a few rows where there where I need to do only one stitch of a third color and can't decide if I want to do a duplicate stitch or just intarsia it.

I just ordered yarn from KnitPicks for this project... the sport weight Telemark.  I've only done one fairisle project so far (a norweigen-type sweater) so I hope this one goes as well.  I LOVE these mitts and can't wait to get started!
