I did this like 2 or 3 days before school... and here it is!! Although nothing here is sewn, partly because I'm too lazy.

First, you cut a piece of (preferably not too heavy) cardboard, the size you want you board to be. And you cut a piece of fluffy material (I don't know the name  Undecided) the same size.

then you wrap an old shirt and cut off the excess fabric.
This is what I used...

And then just hot-glue it to the cardboard (fluffy side is the front, carboard is the back)  Grin

Get yourself some nice thin ribbon, and hot glue it in a zig-zag pattern. IMPORTANT: only glue the ends of the ribbon (in the cardboard) and NOT ont the front (the pictures go there) AND glue it tightly, or at least tightly enough so you can put paper between the ribbon and it won't fall off (I had quite a bit of trouble with this Tongue)

Now, test it
IF it's too loose, like this:

1.- put a bit of glue where ribbons intersect, and below the ribbon that's touching the board.
2.- Tighten them:
glue the part of the ribbon that's nearest to the border

and press

IF you want to add a magnet (just glue it to the cardboard) or ribbon (to hang it) do it now.

Almost done!! now just cut a nice piece of fabric bigger than the board. glue it. you should have like 1 or 2 inches of fabric on the sides of the board. Fold it and glue twice. then just glue the flaps on their respective borders.
hopefully this was understandable. Tongue (sorry for so many pics)

Why sew when you've got a hot glue gun!?!  I like the colors you chose.

I have an etsy!!!  http://craftybagsetc.etsy.com
