Well I was working on all the fish being connected and as I got to about the fourth fish of the rainbow fish scarf...my kid comes in and says "hey that rainbow would be better as a blanket for me!" who can resist? So ribbit ribbit goes the scarf and on goes the blanket. I'm doing this one

And so far I am to 52 sts. I'm using Red Heart in colorway Mexicana I think it's called. It's the rainbow one. At first I didn't like it because it wasn't really rainbow...it was just a mess of colors...every row seemed to be mixed with colors. Now that I have more stitches it's working out to be more of a rainbow. I'll take a pic in a little bit and post it. He loves it so far. He comes home from school and just watches me knit. I hate knitting blankets but if he loves it this much it's all worth my time.

Alright here is my updated (changed and more realistic approach added) list

Irish Hiking Scarf
Chunky Cabled Beanie
Connections from KnittingDaily
One other Cardigan pattern not picked out yet
Banana Republic Knock Off hat
Rainbow Blanket for my son

I am a very slow knitter. I mean seriously. There's no way I will have a cardigan done by fall or even winter for that matter so those are getting pushed to winter knitting and into spring for next year. Plus I'm losing weight so I'll knit a smaller size and I can use it as a goal. I'm sticking with scarfs, hats, and wrist warmers because that's what I will use most.

Here is my progress so far on the blanket. I'm to 61 sts. I have to go to 207 sts and then decrease down. Usually on big projects like this, this is where I give up, frog it and use the yarn for headbands but like I said before T (my son) just comes and watches me knit and loves to see the progress so it will get done with his determination!

bf's socks - 20% became cousin's socks (i casted too litle), 30%
knitty danica - just started still on a same place
circular shrug - 50% (this one is wip for a year or so) still on the same place
sweater for my sister - 75% (just yoke left)85%

but i finished a headband that i wasn't planning to make, and i'm crocheting a bag (75%), and making a blanket, it's 1/4 done, but i prefer to think i'm over 1/2 of the radius:))

it's a blanket for cats, and i managed to get my hands on some red heart, and i actually love it. much nicer then acrylics here, i wish i had a ton. and i love this color, i think it's called fall:

I love red heart! It's easy to care for the knitted items. I've never seen that fall color! It's gorgeous!

Update: I've finished my Sweet Sweater, finally!  Only 10 more projects to go, plus a shawl for my mom:)

Here's my list of WIPs:
100%   Sweet Sweater with Frill
75%   Raglan Sweater
35%   Scala Socks
15%   Wide Rib Scarf (gift)
15%   Riblet Platter Socks (gift)
20%   Nantucket Jacket
10%   Rhiannon Socks
2%   Mossy Leaves Afghan
2%   My First Aran Afghan
0%   1930s Stripes Sweater
0%   Skating Queen Skirt

The WIPs at 0% are either waiting for free needles/yarn or I've had to frog them back to square one... Sigh...

Knitting is the perfect procrastination tool!

although fall is here now, i'm going to join in...i had grand ambitions of making a sweater collection over the summer that were delayed by a baby blanket...the result is an almost finished forecast; a pile of yarn that i've knit 2 sweaters out of, neither of which fit right; about 3 unfinished sweaters; and 3 sweaters that need either finishing or to be frogged...my perfectionism has really gotten the best of me...   Undecided
