Hello!
This is my first big bag (that didn't go horribly wrong) - took me at least a week cos I kept adding little things like the embroidery and make up bag etc - I didn't wanna rush it! Just need to finish off hte strap attachment now. The little birdy's scroll has the exact co-ordinates of me at my sewing machine  Grin
Anyway here are a million pics...(can you tell I'm proud?)  Wink

The bag full

The bag empty

The side, with zip puller/bag charm

The top with handles

The inside with fortune cookie pocket

Thanks for looking Smiley Oh and oops nearly forgot - got the fantastic tute for the bag here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=42927.0 And the make up bag here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0

Wow, I love it!  Reminds me of those Cath Kidston weekend bags.  I definitely prefer yours though as I bet yours didn't cost 60 to make and the beads and embroidery are a wonderful personal touch.

I originally bought the material on a whim cos it reminded me of cath kidston! Plus it was only 50p a metre!!!!!!! Best bargain for a long time, still have loads left too from 2m so including the zip it cost me less than 2 in total because I already had everything else laying about Smiley

WOW that bag is BEAUTIFUL and the little charms on the zippers and embroidery add so much to the sort of feminine appeal of the bag.
