I know this is an old post but I love the way you wrapped the ribbon around the stems of your bouquet.  My flowers are red and white and I was going to wrap them in a red ribbon but wasn't quite sure how to do the wrap.  How did you do yours?  Did you find instructions somewhere with different ways to wrap them?

I love all your flowers by the way.  They are beautiful and so elegant.

Hey sweets!  I'm stalking all your old threads now that I'm getting ready to do the crystals for my bouquets... the link you posted to the tutorial doesn't work anymore.  You basically fold the wire in half, add the bead, hook the wire over a hook attached to a drill and turn it on, then do a few twists to secure the bead, right? Thanks! Smiley  I'm also copying you on the bouts.. any tips on those?

I love the little photos on your bouquet and the handkerchief idea - those are just beautiful and so fitting. I love your dress too - it's gorgeous.

If you say 'plz' because it's shorter than 'please',I'll say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

Old post, but wanted to say thanks for posting the pictures of your bouquet.

I've been trying to think of a few wedding gifts to make for my SIL who is getting married sometime this year (haven't set a date yet, but it'll likely be in 2011). One thing that came to mind was the idea of a bouquet charm to honor deceased loved ones, and I thought that'd be fitting for my SIL since my FIL passed away almost sixteen years ago. Since he won't be there to walk his little girl down the aisle, I thought it'd be a nice idea to make a charm with a picture of him (maybe a picture of him and her if I can get one from MIL) and give it to her, and if she is interested she can put it on her bouquet (she doesn't have to; she's got a LOT of people pressuring her to do things at/with her wedding and I don't want to be pushy like the others). I was having trouble visualizing it, until I saw this thread and your gorgeous pictures.

Aw, thank you so much!  I think that would be a beautiful gift for her.

Another option would be to sew it to the inner seam of her dress, so it's close to her while she walks the aisle.  Sometimes brides sew a ring or something to the inner seam, if it's a token of affection as their something borrowed/blue/new.

Would be so sweet if he was there with her through a photo.
