okay, so i'm calling mine "somewhat tempting" because it's a changed up version of the original Smiley
i couldn't imagine having something without sleeves during the winter, plus my arms are better in sleeves... and i'm on a self imposed yarn buying restriction so i had to used what i had.  But overall, I'm happy and all I have left to do is weave in all the ends and I've got a new sweater to wear tomorrow  Grin

Your "somewhat tempting" looks great!  Is that  polka dot bow? Love the whole look of the black/white and long sleeve action.

thanks Smiley  i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, and knitting full length sleeves didn't add any aggravation, just time.

i think i'm going to have to back the polka dot ribbon because if i pull it a little tight, the ribbon folds in half and you see the back side.  options options!!

i don't normally post a "wow, that looks GREAT!" post... but holey moley.... that is stunning and i ablsolutely LOVE it with long sleeves.  you have taken the pattern and made it your own. BEAUTIFUL!!!i finished mine and although i weigh less than 115 (not telling you my weight ahahahaha), i look like a frumpy sausage in my sweater. it shows every damn roll.  UGH!
maybe someday i'll add-on to the sleeves and lose those 7 pesky pounds and get flat abs. til then, i am looking for a trim and slim recipient for this sweater.

Casting on this weekend! If it works out well, I might make another in rust color with a shiny khaki ribbon...

rhythmgirl - great job!  I love  your "somewhat" tempting, esp. the polka dot ribbon.

I knit another couple of inches yesterday while watching the last few episodes of "Sex and the City" on DVD - yes, I know, I'm behind everyone else in the world b/c I don't have tv.  I actually cried at the end... but was pleased that I had something easy to knit.  The Cashmerino is soooo soft, I can't wait to wear this!!  I'd like to have it done for our anniversary dinner in two weeks...  that's my goal...  we'll see.

I'm almost done with Tempting #2!  I cast off, so now I just need to weave in ends (and fix those darn armpit holes) and add the ribbon.  Then I'll mail it off as a valentine's present to my cousin.

melidomi, you amaze me!  I don't think mine will even get started until march, seeing as how I kind of never got around to getting the needles over winter break.   Undecided

See, the thing is, I watch way too much tv.  And I almost always knit while watching tv.  and while riding in the car.  And any other time I can.  And I knit pretty quickly.  But mostly it's the obsessiveness that makes me get things done quickly.  If only I could apply that to work!
