Hi, I'm brand-spanking-new! :waves:

Yes, today I finally got enough courage to stop lurking and make my first post.

As the title says, I'm absolutely broke. Money wise and talent wise!  Cheesy

Yup, no money for supplies.  Not even  a buck! But since I've been lurking around here, I swear, I've found ways of making stuff.

Take for instance the fact that after reading thread upon thread on sewing stuff, I splurged enough money to buy myself a 'starters' sewing kit.  I got it home all excited and then it hit me, I didn't buy any freaking thread.  How does one sew without thread?  Don't even get me started on the fact that I'd never sewn anything before in my life. Not even a button.  >_<

Long story short, I 'borrowed' thread and made an apron.  My first ever project!  ^^  Eventually I'll work up the courage to post some images.

I've also done some baking, decorated some boxes, taken some pictures and even drawn!  And as soon as I work around the 'courage' situation, I'll get to posting around the forum.

Don't worry about the "courage" thing! Post what you've made, because obviously you are proud!

I know how you feel though, some of these elite crafters and their projects are intimidating!

Welcome to crackster! (that will make sense very soon, this place is utterly addicting) Don't worry about the courage thing though, I for one can't wait to see what you've done. It sounds like you been busy crafting.

I'm glad you worked up the courage to join & post. I know it can be intimidating, but I'm sure it'll be totally worth it.
