Thanks to bethiej78 graciously awarding Whileywoo and myself an extension (due to nasty postal strikes lasting til Wednesday) I have managed to get another piece finished today.  I was worried I would botch the final stage but thanfully I haven't.

Large: 100%
Medium: 20%
Medium: 100%
Small: 80%

Hopefully I can get the other medium done tonight too and then that just leaves the small tomorrow to finish off and then I can post on Monday!  (I'll get proof of postage on Monday, but I doubt it'll leave the post office itself til Thursday).

It was HARD work! We were adding sugar and yeast to some Muscadine juice, which in about 6 weeks will become a nice dry dessert wine. That sounds nice and romantic until you realized we were hauling 26 fifty pound bags of sugar to the top of a 15ft tall vat on a LADDER with a wet floor (Im working on my masters in Safety and Health so I was freaking out just a little lot) and if you have ever smelled yeast and yeast enzymes-- its a strange mixture of chocolate milk mix and pesticide. Blech!

But he wants me to come help with the bottling process in a few weeks and I may help out when it opens!

okay I am all done. I will be shipping out tomorrow! I had a bit of an accident today. I cut my nail off while slicing shallots for dinner. No need to go to the hospital, so that is good.

Oh no! OUCH!  Glad you're okay!  (and i can't wait for my package Wink).  Also, I don't think you'll be mailing tomorrow, because tomorrow is a postal holiday (Columbus Day). I don't want you going to the PO and then finding out it's closed. Though, I guess you can still use the automated machines and stuff.

That's right tomorrow is a holiday! But have no fear, I am sending Fed Ex from work, so I can still send.
