We used my Grandmother's famous chocolate chip cookie recipe for our second reception's edible favour. I ordered 200 1 1/2 pint Chinese take-out boxes from U-Line (about $32 bucks), and used what was left of the 50 yeards of wholesale ribbon I had bought for my bouquet, and I made some little "thank you" tags in all our colours.

pretty aquatic colours, finished assembly:

Aunt Kim and the assembly line!

Punched tags, and thank you stickers

The whole table was full by the time we were done:

We were a well-oiled Detroit line! I was cutting the ribbon, my new cousin was baking cookies and filling the boxes, and Aunt Kim was attaching the many layers!

I was thinking about using chinses take out boxes for favor containment also!  I wasn't too sure where to find them tho, thanks for the info!

Definitely get them from U-Line. For sure the cheapest price I could find. We have one near us, so I arranged for will-call and saved us the shipping costs, too. You may have one near you! If not, the shipping was not going to break the bank. I just needed 'em right away.

Oh, and for reference, 4 standard sized cookies fit into the 1 1/2 pint size perfectly.  (for anyone else doing cookie favours.)

Are those stickers embossed?

Love the color combo!

The stickers are actually seals from the stationary section of a store. They are raised, so they have a nice tactile finish. Then, I just used my large oval punch, punched out different colours of aquatic coloured paper and used them as the base. And a little, ever-present, double sided tape stuck them on the ribboned box.

After the first wedding reception and all the projects I did, and spent oodles of money on tape runners and adhesives, I found that Sam's Club has double sided tape, Scotch brand, sold in 5 -packs, for $11. I don't like funding the evil Wal-Mart empire, but some Sam's Club purchases were necessary. Like TAPE!
