My spanish teacher made us write a book in spanish for kids. So, I did. I made mine from scratch. I used cardstock for the covers, and covered them in silver satin. I used cotton resume paper for the endpapers. I stab-bound the book, with white yarn. I used some leftover trim from a costume to make a tie for the book. The tie is a long piece of black trim with a silver thread. The faerie illustrations are linocut prints. So is the butterfly. I hand illustrated each page using acrylic paints. I put a butterfly in the corner of each page and put the page number inside.

Anywho, pic-a-tures!

The front cover (It's kind of hard to see in the light.)

I used the resume paper for the dedication page, too.

Thanks for looking! It's not great quality, but I did spend an entire night on it (procastination, what can I say?).

It's a shame she had to correct your Spanish on the pages!  Surely, she could've written your mistakes down on a second sheet of paper.  My Spanish teacher would've cried if I turned something in that beautiful.

I agree, it was upsetting that she wrote in it!

Thank you both for the comments!

The window crosscuts? They were accidental, mostly. *blush*  Wink
