A while ago I was in a car crash and all of my things were spewed all over the high way. Everything was collected except for a few sewing books and my sewing machine. My sewing machine was totally destroyed beyond recolonization.
the crash was several months ago, and ive been borrowing sewing machines from my family since then. But what I really want/need is a another sewing machine like my old one. But I cant remember the Model number or even the company.
heres what I do remember:
~Had 3 settings, a straight stitch, a longer straight stitch and a zig zag stich.
~White case but a brown plastic strip where you identified the stitch setting
~Made of metal, but was not cast iron (might have been made of aluminum mixture because it sure as hell crushed easily under a truck. But it was still significantly heavy)
~Electric but had hand crank
~Bottom loading Bobbin
~was possibility a singer?
~was most likely from the 1960's to 1970's
Here is a really awful picture of my old sewing machine when it was back at my dorm room. Hence the ramen cup near it.
any help identifying the machine would be greatly appreciated.
