First of all I would just like to say, You are Awesome.  So many creative people with a boatload of talent!!!

I'm a fairly new knitter, but I had to be a part of this amazing community.....so here are two projects that I am very proud of...I hope you like it!

(man I hate having to post links, sorry guys) Embarrassed

This is my first attempt at the fingerless gloves.  The pattern came from Winter Knits.   I didn't bother with gauge so the first one came out too big....serve me right for being too lazy  Tongue

So on the second glove, I didn't increase and I cut down the amount of stitches by one, and it fits great!!!  I'm planning on giving these to my sister as she goes to school in Boone and from what I hear it gets really cold there.

This is the finished glove, and now I just have to redo the first one to match.

I have never owned or worn a pair of leg warmers before, but I began these when leg warmers became popular again.  The sad thing is, I didn't finish them until this summer, so I have to wait for it to get cold again before I can wear them (although I have to admit I did wear them at home when the ac made me cold....how bad is that? Wink)

It's a bit scary putting these out there, but I hope you like them!

I love the colors in your leg warmers.

Good on you for whipping out the DPNs for the gloves so soon after learning to knit!  Wink

You should be proud of your projects and welcome to posting!!

I totally agree with you on the leg warmers thing...I wear mine all the time at home, and everyone laughs at me!  But your work looks great!  I can't wait to see more of your projects Smiley
