I've already started on some Christmas gifts in hopes that I might actually get them done this year.

Last year a friend of mine made cup cozies and it made me think of the cozies that my mom has had since before I was born. They're a little worn to say the least and I thought I'd make a set for her this Christmas.

This thought turned into making kitchen sets for several different people, but we'll see how that goes.

Here are pictures of three that I've gotten done since starting this adventure. You can tell I'm still learning, but I'm happy with the results since I'm pretty pathetic at crocheting anything other than granny squares.

Its never too early to start christmas! I think I need to make myself a set of these. And youre obviously NOT pathetic at crocheting things other than granny squares! I have to say you've got me beat. It took me over a year (long, actually, but I wont admit just exactly how long) to even start crocheting in the round, let alone actuallying making stuff. Congrats on that, and good job on the cozies!

I'm no longer a moderator, but I will always love June 2005 - October 2008

Wow great job I love them.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Your cup cozies look great, but I have to admit I never heard of one until now.

Finished some more cozies (as well as a dishcloth and a mini-towel) and took a pic to document so I thought I'd post it here.

My favorite is by far the green and blue one. But I'm making them for people like my mom and grandma and mother in law who might not like the bright colors as much as I do.
