My first year of college my roommate and I managed to craft out our dorm room for under $20 with stuff that mostly came from the dollar store! we basically went to Deals (a "almost everything a dollar" store that in our hometown is next to walmart) and got all sorts of stuff (my favorite thing were some cute blue, purple, yellow, and pink glittery mesh butterflies that came off of those sticks you put in your yard... $1 each, even though if you bought the butterflies themselves they're usually about $10 or more) and then went to walmart for the rest...

We always got lots of compliments, especially on our bulletin board, which I did using wrapping paper and ribbon...

I absolutely loved crafting out our dorm! I'm sure you and your roommate will love it too!

Cute, I love the dollar signs on the coin jar, and the pimp cup is awesome haha. You've inspired me to have a go at making a picture frame or something to take to uni with me...
