Hello ,

Ive Long since wanted to make pants .. and ages ago I saw A great tute..http://community.livejournal.com/t_shirt_surgery/3597625.html
posted by theresat  And honestly I didint get it at first .. then spontaneously the other day ..it popped into my head again and this time it made prefect since .. so heres what I came up with ..

Scary Pumpkin man pants for me !

Shocked I look like a Zombie In this pic ! LOL  Grin

to show the legnth

I loved them so much ...  I and had another scary pumpkin man shirt .. so I made another for my sis.. since she is bigger than me I added inserts to the side ! and now I actually like hers better Wink

the Idea was so fun and easy that I decided to try I pair from scratch using the same method

and I got these great pj's

here it as as a set with the top I made a few weeks ago

I don't know if you can tell .. but even though the waist is elasticated I it also ties with a decorative bow ( of the same fabric) on the side ..

Thanks so much for looking ! This is my first time attempting pants and I'm so Happy that I finally did .. Please tell me what you think of them

 Have a great night

I'm making my first pair of pants tomorrow. I'm really excited. I just got a brand new sewing machine and everything. I've seen a lot of your work, and you really are an amazing seamstress. Kudos to you, girl.

thanks guys !  these were so quick and easy to make , I'm sure Ill be making lots more .. and the main reason I'm so happy with them .. is now I can actually make something my sis will wear ... she is not much of a skirt girl , and since she is ( unnecessarily) self conscious about her large "chest " she wont wear corsets or tanks !  but pants she has no reservations about ! so yay ! Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley

I love those pants.  I really love the ones to go with the shirt you make a while back. Great set!!

Did you use a shirt that fits you or one that is a bit big. My daughter has tons of shirts that are way to big for her and is always looking for something to make with them. She usually makes purses with them.

thank you .. and yes I used a shirt that was big on me the tags say mens large , but I honestly think that brand runs quite big .. so its prolly more like an XL mens ..

if they are to small though she can always add the inserts like I did for my sisters  Wink Cheesy
