I got my package from librarylolita yesterday  Grin  She sent a cool tote bag and 5 1" buttons. I really love the fact that she made it from recycled materials.

The clear paint is actually glow-in-the-dark!

The detail where the straps are attached - a little heart and a bow.

Buttons: lyrics from "1234" by Feist, Feist herself, the Arctic Monkeys, lyrics from "Please please please" by Fiona Apple, and the New Pornographers

Brenna actually sent TWO more packages besides this main one, one of which should be here any day now. I love everything so far; thank you!

I got my box today! Wooooooohooo!!

My bands were Atmosphere, Radiohead, Gorillaz, Interpol, and Death Cab For Cutie.

The_Dez sent probably the sweetest necklace I have ever seen, for Radiohead...
I can't believe all of the tiny, hand folded stars! And I know it's upside down, but the smaller beads spell out 'Pyramid Song' which is my favorite RH song...

ANNNDDDD, in a move that wins the_dez my heart FOREVER, this awesome Atmosphere shirt!
The front says Atmosphere

and the back is one of my favorite passages, from his song 'Reflections,' (which kinda got cut off at the bottom, sorry)

I love this shirt soooo much, and I am soooo going to wear it to his show in Athens in September!!

The_dez also sent me magnets with pictures of each of my favorite bands, which are also awesome. However, the scans didn't turn out that great... haha. Are magnets bad for scanners? :X oops, I hope not... haha Smiley

Thank you so much, Dez!!!

I received a really awesome package today from locamama.  Here are some pics:

This is my daughter holding onto the Elvis purse that she LOVES and will not let me touch  Cheesy

This is the whole loot.  A wooden Elvis purse, A BEAUTIFUL collage with my favorite song "At Last", A really neat photo album that has the words to another favorite song, "My Girl," all through it, some really cool Elvis magnets, and a nice card.

My favorite thing is the collage with the song "At Last."  (It is the hubby and my song and it was our first dance at our reception...so lots of sentimental value)  I literally had tears running down my cheeks when I saw it.  I'm taking it tomorrow to have it framed.  It really means a lot to me!  And it's gorgeous!

Thank you locamama!!

That is SUCH a beautiful collage! (Even more beautiful with all that lovely extra sentimental value I'm sure!) It really is stunning.

Wists beyond measure are man's greatest treasure... Wink

Aw! The song doesn't hold any sentimental value for me but the collage + your value made me tear up a little... beautiful, locamama!

I'm so glad you like it.  The collage was the last piece I worked on and my favorite too.

I thought you could add photo's of your daughter to the my girl album.   I love the pictures of her with the Elvis purse.  Too cute.

ok! I got my gifts from my partner, mezofoprezo! And i gotta say, I LOVE them! =D so without further adieu, here is the goods  Cool

first off here is 3/4 of the gifts I received, the biggest being the journal with a naked Bjork (lol) with the lyrics, "it's oh so quiet, oh so still", classic.

next is...

these AWESOME MAN MAN earrings, I LOVE these guys. I hope to see them in concert in October!!!

the next item is...

sorry for the blurry picture!!! but it's a key chain that says MADNESS, nothing like old skool ska  Wink ace.

and finally, the grand finale!

a BERET! (lol i hope i spelled it right =s) but I LOVE It!!! omg it's SO COOL, it says "MAN MAN IS LIFE LIFE <3." And I agree, man man is life life.  Smiley hella.

and the package was covered with these hilarious comics, my favorite is this one:

the comic is basically about these two stick figures talking about bands and eventually the narrator admits he/she only talk about bands from Guitar Hero. classic =)

THANK YOU MEZOFOPREZO! I love all the items!! they are great! thank you so much! and im glad you FINALLY got your package, i nearly died. lol this was a fun swap, and a little challenging =s i mean just trying to figure out how to display the lyrics and the bands was crazy, but i definitely enjoyed the swap =)
