Where is your favorite place to buy felt? Online  (fav site) or the fabric store? What kind works best? Acrylic or wool?

I normally buy mine at Wal-mart or Hobby Lobby.  I use acrylic.. but I guess it depends on what you are making with it..

What thickness do you use with tiny felt dolls? I am unsure what to get - and I really want to try out some of those Japanese mascots that I have found...
