Just a quicky... found this lovely print top in the sales and bought it even tho I knew it would look grim on (too much boob and hips)... And it did!:



So after humming and ha-ing for a while I attacked it with some scissors, sewed up the mess and got this:


The sewing round the top is a real mess (forgot to check the tension on my machine before I started) but I'm stupidly proud of my first 'proper' recon.

I think it looks much better as a skirt. Good reuse of a garment with cool fabric.
