That's a lovely swap journal - lots of space to write in!

Aha!  Now I know who can make that darned bag! Wink  It's beautiful, great job!

2 things I neglected to mention - this was the second time I was claimed for the sling bag - the other time, the friend who chose it had a really really hard time making it, so ended up making me something else, instead - so i'm especially glad to have one now

and the other thing is that this bag is lined with a light blue, really soft fabric - it's just yummy (and i think i need to put all my stuff in it so i can use it tomorrow)

Snowy, prepare to be wisted!

Here's the vintage jewelry I received from riario. I especially love the necklaces, and am wearing the blue one today!

frenchnewwave: I'm glad you like the jewelry Smiley I was hoping to send more but the estate sales around here have really had slim pickings  Undecided.  The blue necklace is one my mom used to wear way back in the day, some of the other jewelry is also from my grandma and some I got from another craftster  Wink

Are you all ready to be super jealous of my super awesome swap journal?  I can't say how much I love it.  I want to join a new swap just so I can write in it.  Get your wist buttons ready.

Detail of cover, it is a little blurry because the skull is sparkly.

The whole thing.

Dyingtolive, I love it so much.  I can't thank you enough.

Yay!  I am so glad you liked it.  I was really nervous to send it to you because I have never made anything like it before.  Hope you enjoy it...I had a blast making it and nearly kept it for myself  Grin

Danceisthenewmosh, I thought you'd like to see the kitty pi in action. Pippin loves it!  Wink I think she'll love it even more when the cold weather sets in (which will probably be tomorrow *lol*)

Snowy, prepare to be wisted!

You're too sweet and I did have a tricky time making this since I had no pattern/instructions. The soft blue fabric was the most stubborn fabric ever. It kinda velvety/felt like and kept curling up on the edges really tightly, i had to pin like crazy!

Thanks, Sevs you're too sweet. I'm not opposed to doing personal swaps with ya either over one either....   Wink
