Excellent idea with the feed bags, and it couldn't have been a cuter design. I love the chickens. Yes, the bigger the bag, the better!

This is great, and so strong! Is it difficult to sew that material? Did you use a machine, or did you have to do it by hand?

I love the material for your bag!  Where can I get some of those feed bags?  I can't imagine that ever ripping.  I love it!

I really like this! Not only is it nice and big but its re-used!! That really adds to the fact that this is a challege to promote the three R's and make the world a better place. These would be great for gifts by the way, or even swaps. You are now using less plastic and making less trash by re-using the feed bag instead of throwing it away! I <3 you for this! GREAT JOB! oh and lets not forget that the denim makes it really strong!

It was all done by machine, although I was still picking little bits of plastic out of the overlocker after three days.  It is incredibly strong material but I have noticed that after laying around in the elements for a year or more it does break down, but not a problem in this case as I don't think it will be left outside  Grin  The only hand sewing was the buttons on the handles, I love how they are a kinda of egg yolk orange.

I like it.  I'm going to have to try and make one, we have a bunch of those feed sacks.
