With my nephew about to turn 1 year old and both of my sisters pregnant, my mom wanted to turn my old bedroom into the nursery.  I didn't have to do much - I had painted it before I moved out (about 5 years ago) and decided to try my hand at stenciling the walls! 
My inspiration for the stencils came from the book "Organic Baby" by Kimberly Rider.

Here are the sencils I made, which killed my fingers to cut! -

And here's the finished product!

(I need to take my paint mixing poster home!)

This is the wall where I'm going to stencil the names of each grandchild as they are born (Lillie is due in October and Cecilia is due in January!)

That's adorable! I love the starbust type flowers. Congrats to your family on all the new additions!
