(this whole thing is extra annoying because I HAD THOSE BANGS in high school - I mean, my hair was cut like that - and I can't figure this out and I feel like a bonehead!)
But I guess this is a little different.
thank you for any help you can give me - my hair is a lot wavier than it used to be, so having my old bangs back would be a lot more work than high school! Smiley

I sent you a PM so i could help - I am wondering what all you did - because for me it was too easy so I am wondering what went wrong so I can help - let me know Smiley

I made a set of clip-in extensions, but I never thought of doing bangs!

where do you get the wig clips?  and do they work in really short hair?

I bought the wig clips @ Chatham Beauty Supply that caters to African American hair extensions and supplies. I would think they would hold on to short hair because these suckers are strong and won't easily be pulled out unless snapped open.

I did it!!

My hair is really thick and coarse and curly and long... I usually straighten it like so:

Because I flat-iron my hair, I didn't want to cut bangs because I knew they woul dbe tedious upkeep. Then I found this tut and....

Looks good with hair up,

and with hat,

Here's a closeup of where hair meets fake bangs;

Almost the perfect crime. I would definately wear this bad boy under my hat or out at night, but probably not in broad daylight. There's the weensiest indication of color change and a bit of a bump, but I LOVELOVELOVE my false bangs!!

Thank you so much!

I only post compliments that I really and truly mean.

o man, thats amazing!!!

i have the same issues too, with if i wanna cut for bettie bangs or not. i used to have them, and i rocked them for over a year too (not counting the elementary school haircuts i had, lol). then they grew out, and i cut them again, and it just didnt look the same. but i really, REALLY miss them. Im going to have to test this theory out. and they look great on you too!

I'm having a hard time finding tracks like those. Most of them are like 3 inches wide. Any links or suggestions?
