well this bag took me about a week to complete. the quilting too longer than expected but i am really happy with how it turned out. i used 2 tutes for this bag (well actually 3) but here it is..





in progress...

thanks... it was a hodgepodge of all the fabric i have.  it did take a long time. it was a lot of firsts for me.. thanks for the comments..

the flap is striped but all the rest is just squares.

Not just squares, you did a great job on it, quilting is not always so easy. Everything lines up nicely. Gold star for you.

i made another one that is smaller and the patches are different shapes. this one also does not have a flap on it. just ties....  i think i likethis one better than the original one i did. 
i have several of these in the works that i am selling YAY Cheesy

These are beautiful bags!  I agree with susankg53 that this is alot of work and takes patience as well as math skills! Grin  Your workmanship is wonderful and I love the different fabrics you put together.  Everything just works!  You've inspired me to make a pieced bag from my stash that is too huge...!  Anyway, great work!
