Here's my version of the crazy collar sweater. I had done this sweater a while back and haven't been able to post it cause I kept forgetting. That's what happens when one is pregnant. I used this pattern but I left out the lace and used a stockinette stitch for the body instead. I couldn't concentrate on the Fern Diamonds. I also used Bernat Satin which knit up really lovely.

Mmmm I like your version very much! I think the collar's adorable but I'm intimidated by all that fancy lace stitching in the pattern. Perhaps this will be my first sweater. Beeauuutiful job!

Hi Rose, Love your version! I was wondering if you could post the pattern you used or followed? The original post doesn't have the pattern and I'm dying to give this one a try!! Thanks

Oooh that's really pretty. I love the way it's edged. I've just started knitting again, so I'm in awe of anyone with the patience and skill to knit a big piece (aka sweater instead of a scarf, or a bookmark Tongue)

Does it have closures at all? I don't see any buttons in the picture, but I bet one really iconic button near the top would look amazing. Not that it doesn't already  Wink
