Really excellent sugar skull face cane!!!!
I also see you've surrounded the face with translucent clay for a background... are you planning to use thin slices on another clay base (sheet, bead, etc.) to "float" the slices?

As for "Natasha beads" (4-sided beads created with 4 repetitions of a pattern cut from a mixed-clay loaf, for those who don't know), or even just 2 repetitions from a small mixe-clay loaf, I think it's always a good thing to STOP when you see somethat that really looks pictorial.... they're fun to look for too  Grin
They can be great to use on their own, or stuff can be added to bring out the resemblance (like the mouth here)... love it, a Day of the Dead Mickey M.! . . . LOLOLOL.

I think you are brilliant.  I have been caning, but have trouble posting pics.  I love canes, but I'm having mixed success.  When they rock, they reeaaally rock.

thanks a lot everybody, as i always say cause its so true: youre so sweet Cheesy Cheesy
pinkpoodle230 and Diane Im planning to make looots of things with it, i have cane for a while^^, and yes the background is translucent cause i can never decide for a background color, most of my canes are sourrounded with translucent. And i have in my mind to build some tattoo themed canes to make compositions, so the translucent will help me with that^^
devil ducky yes i love that exprsion too, believe me i couldnt believe it when i saw it^^

I am so impressed! The blending of the yellow and the white on the teeth is great!

I will be out of town June 11-20 with limited computer access. (Be patient with me, I'm on the beach!)
