I wanted to make my daughter a 4th of July outfit but didn't want to spend a lot of money on fabric and notions so I hit the thrift store.  At my local thrift store each week a different colored tag is 25 cents. So this skirt cost probably less than a dollar once it was all done.

So anyways....I found this flaggy tshirt and knew right away what I wanted to do with it.

I made it into a skirt for  Diamond but made the front printing to be on the butt.  I also put some little ribbon tabs along the bottom.  I think that touch made the skirt pop.

Here are the action shots....

Every time she's worn this outfit she gets tons of compliments.  She doesn't usually wear jeans underneath....it was just cold the day I took pictures. Smiley

I hope you all like it as much as I do.  It was super easy to make and tshirt material is so easy to work with.

Oh...and thanks for letting me share.  I don't really have any crafting buddies around here who share my enthusiasm and I have to tell somebody!  LOL.
